6U Tackle Football

The Bolingbrook Buccaneers Youth Football Program offers Tackle Football for young athletes who between the ages 5-6 years in the Bolingbrook and surrounding area. We are currently accepting players for the 2019 season. The 6u level is an introductory to football and will teach the game of football at a slower pace.  6U will only play a regular season schedule with no pre or post season games.  6U games are played in a 8 versus 8 fashion.  This format has been found to really allow the players the ability to stay engaged and learn at a slower pace.  So, if you have young athletes looking to learn and play the game at an early age, this is the level for you.

AGE REQUIREMENTS?

To play on our 6U Team,  a player needs to be between 5 and 6 years old as of July 31, 2021.

WEIGHT LIMITS?

6U DOES NOT have weight limit

The fees for the BBFC is based on several factors including, but not limited to, the number of games we play, the uniforms we provide our players, the facilities we utilize and the experience we provide our teams. HOW MANY GAMES WILL THE 6U PLAY?

The 6U Team will compete in local (8-9 games).  

PRACTICE SCHEDULE?

Our first official practice is Monday July 18, 2022.  We practice 5 nights a week Mon - Friday through Mid-August.

During September, October, and November practices are 3 nights a week. Practices are at  Bull Dog Park in Bolingbrook.
