Welcome to the Bolingbrook Buccaneers Spirit (Cheer) Page. Below are details regarding our spirit program.
Competitive Level of Cheer and Dance
Cheerleaders will be placed on teams based on age and their development. Competitive level girls have to be really dedicated and ready to give their full participation and commitment to their team. There are 3 competitions Conference, IRCA and National. Chicagoland Conference is held in October and you must place 1st, 2nd or third to advance to UYFL Nationals. UYFL Nationals will be held in Florida the first week of December. All Cheer levels will cheer for their level football teams home and away games. The season starts at the end August and goes through the end of Football season.
If you have an interest in coaching this level, please submit a volunteer application as well as complete a coaches contract and someone will reach out to you.
AGE REQUIREMENTS?
To play on our 12U Team a player needs to be between 11 and 12 years of age as of July 31, 2022.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLAY ON THE 12U TEAM?
The fees for the BBFC is based on several factors including, but not limited to, the number of games we play, the uniforms we provide our players, the facilities we utilize and the experience we provide our teams. We do require our players to participate in Team Fundraisers as well to offset tournaments and team costs.
- Early bird Registration Fee:$300.00 (prior to 3/31/22)
- Post Early bird Registration Fee: $400.00 (after 3/31/22)
You can now register with only a $60 down. After registering with your down payment, you can now select up to 3 payment plan options that work for you.

HOW MANY GAMES WILL THE 12U CHEER FOR?
The 12U Team will cheer at home and away games (8-9 games).
PRACTICE SCHEDULE?
Our first official practice is Monday July 18, 2022. We practice 5 nights a week Mon - Friday through Mid-August.
During September, October, and November practices are 3 nights a week. Practices are at Bull Dog Park in Bolingbrook.
For this level of cheer the head coach will adjust practices and times as needed.
